The invitation, prepared by Steph Philpot, on a card designed by Doreen Sorrels, featuring the art work of Doreen's felt banner.

Mr. Tate Tacon, President of the Board of Directors, begins the Installation Ceremony. Ms. Doreen Sorrels, one of the founding members of the church, offers Rev. Geer the symbolic "hand of God" to confirm the installation of Rev. Geer as the minister. Ms. Doreen Sorrels participates in the Installation Ceremony and askes Rev Geer to affirm her commitment to the church, to the congregation, and to the Board of Directors.
Ms. Evelyn Ward, one of the founding members of the church, asks the Board of Directors to stand and affirm their commitment to the church and to Rev. Geer as the new minister. Mrs. Eleanore Scott, one of the founding members of the church, asks the congregation to stand and affirm their commitment to the church and to the leadership of the church, as represented by the Board of Directors and Rev. Geer. Rev. Geer delivers her message for the day, entitled "Opening Our Eyes to New Possibilities."
The congregation stands for a hymn during the Sunday service. Forming a "Friendship Circle," the congregation sings the Peace Song at the end of the service. Many attended the Intallation Service, including many guests and friends of the church, and chairs were placed in the lobby to accommodate the overflow. Members of the church and guests enjoy each other's company at a reception after the service, where gifts were presented to Rev. Geer [back, right].
